Abstract:
An information processing system: preserves data used in machine learning in a distributed manner in a plurality of servers; reads setting information that indicates a method for dividing cross-validation in machine learning; specifies, on the basis of the setting information, a validation server among the plurality of servers that executes cross-validation, and verification data used in cross-validation; specifies the arrangement of data in the plurality of servers; specifies insufficient data, which is data within the validation data that is not stored by the validation server; and, on the basis of the arrangement of the specified insufficient data, causes the insufficient data to be transmitted to the validation server from a server among the plurality of servers that stores the insufficient data.
