Abstract:
The present invention provides an information processing system provided with: a detection means for detecting a position of a customer, an article, or a conveyor which conveys the article; an acquisition means for acquiring identification information from the article; a determination means for determining whether the position detected by the detection means is a position where the identification information can be acquired or not; and a notification information generation means for generating, in the case where it is determined that the position detected by the detection means is not the position where the identification information can be acquired, notification information for notifying the customer of the fact.
