Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of expanding the market for a commodity or the like offered by a commodity provider, and, as a result, acquiring a new customer segment for said commodity or the like. This information processing system comprises: a commodity provider terminal 2 which is managed by a commodity provider providing a commodity or a service as a commodity or the like; a commodity distributor terminal 3 which is managed by a commodity distributor for distributing the commodity; and a platform server 1 which communicates with both a first information processing device and a second information processing device. A registration request unit 51 requests the platform server 1 to register information pertaining to the commodity or the like as commodity information. A presentation unit 81 presents the commodity information to purchase candidates who are candidates intending to purchase the commodity or the like, on the basis of a request made by the platform server 1 to present the commodity information. An order accepting unit 82 accepts an order to purchase the commodity or the like from a certain person among the purchase candidates. An order information generation unit 83 generates order information by specifying the certain person as a customer.
