Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information processing system that allows for emergency transport to a suitable medical facility on the basis of a drug that a patient is taking. This information processing system includes: a transportation patient information processing unit for extracting information on a drug prescribed to a patient on the basis of identification information of the patient to be transported; a drug assessment processing unit for using the extracted information on the drug to assess a drug corresponding to said drug; and a transportation destination candidate selection processing unit for selecting a medical facility to be a candidate to which to transport the patient. The transportation destination candidate selection processing unit: selects, as a candidate medical facility, a medical facility that stores or handles the assessed drug, and causes such selection to be output to an emergency medical services terminal used by emergency medical services; or makes identifiable, among selected candidate medical facilities, a medical facility that stores or handles the assessed drug, and causes such identifiable facility to be output to an emergency medical services terminal.
