Abstract:
Provided are an information prompt method, vehicle control method, and related apparatus, applied to a smart car, new-energy vehicle, or self-driving vehicle. In the method: first obtaining information comprising gear position information, speed information, and status information of a vehicle at a visual position of a user (S101); if the speed information is less than a vehicle speed threshold, then determining the intended gear position of the user (S102); if the intended gear position of the user is inconsistent with the gear position information, then indicating that a target driver has made a parking gear-change erroneous operation, and therefore issuing a gear-position erroneous operation indication (S103); reminding the user of a correct parking operation, thereby improving parking safety; next, determining a first obstacle distance (S202) and a braking distance (S203) by means of the information of the vehicle; if the first obstacle distance is less than a range determined from the braking distance or a relevant distance, controlling the vehicle using a different driving force (S204), avoiding collision of the vehicle with the obstacle, thus reducing the influence of obstacles on parking, and further improving parking safety.
