An information providing device and an information providing system which are capable of providing appropriate destination information according to the using situation of a user. The information providing device which is mounted to a vehicle and provides information relating to destination candidates is provided with a navigation device which provides the information relating to the destination candidates taking such a fact into consideration that electronic payment is conducted at a destination after travel guidance to the destination by a vehicle-mounted device. Since the information relating to the destination candidates is provided taking the above-said fact into consideration, the destination candidates can be selected on the basis of information on destinations that are actually guided and used, and information relating to the destination candidates can be provided. Accordingly, it is possible to provide information relating to appropriate destination candidates according to the using situation of the user.
