Abstract:
An information providing system installed in a moving body is disclosed. The information providing system includes a projector; and a controller configured to control the projector, wherein the controller includes an external information acquiring unit configured to acquire external information outside the moving body, a target recognition unit configured to recognize one or more targets based on the external information, an estimating unit configured to estimate rankings of the one or more recognized targets, and a projection control unit configured to cause the projector to project an image outside the moving body, the image representing notification to a desired target, the desired target being specified, from among the one or more recognized targets, in accordance with the rankings of the one or more recognized targets.
