The invention discloses an information sending method of single broadcasting network, which comprises the following steps: 11), separating form information and effective information in the page with repeated form in the pages to be sent; 12), forming mode board page information with same form information; 13), broadcasting said mode board page information and effective information and other page information. The invention also discloses a information receiving method of single broadcasting network, which comprises the following steps: 81), receiving said mode board page information and effective information which down sent respectively in type of broadcasting and other page information; 82), filling the effective information into relative mode board page to form whole page; 83), displaying the said page. In the method, a lot of information with repeated form in the sending pages of single broadcasting network can be sent to the user port as mode board, the effective information can be separately sent and the effective information can be inserted into the mode board to be display. The method is suited for distribution of the index information in the VOD system.
