Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information terminal, a communication device, and a communication method that make it possible to ascertain a communication state in detail. An information terminal according to the present technology comprises: a reception unit that receives a survey signal in which carriers are multiplexed in the frequency direction, each of the carriers being modulated with a reference signal and differing in frequency; a band control unit that controls the passband of a filter that limits the band of the survey signal received by the reception unit; a demodulation unit that demodulates the survey signal that has through the filter and acquires the reference signal; and a survey unit that surveys a communication state on the basis of the passband of the filter and the result of demodulation by the demodulation unit. The present technology can be applied to, e.g., an IoT system that collects information from a large number of sensor terminals to ascertain an environmental change.
