Abstract:
This information terminal device is a portable information terminal device such as a wristwatch information terminal or video game console that, through the use of a film-like input/output unit by pulling the same out from a housing, can be made to be compact while also being highly functional and/or multifunctional. The back surface of the input/output unit on the free-end side is supported by a support member. The support member is sandwiched between a front frame of the housing and the guide member and can be freely retracted from and inserted into the housing. When the input/output unit is pulled out, the back surface of the input/output unit on the proximal end side is supported by the guide member. As a result, a support structure is achieved that achieves reliable input/output operation from the film-like input/output unit. Additionally, an angle adjustment mechanism is provided between the support member and housing.
