The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications, and provides an information transmission method and apparatus, a resource configuration method and apparatus, a terminal device, and a network device. The method, performed by a terminal device, comprises: sending auxiliary information to a network device, wherein the auxiliary information carries at least one of the following: the correspondence between a target address of a direct communication interface and a message type of a direct communication interface message; and identity information of the terminal device.
