Abstract:
The present invention relate to an infrared electrothermal ceramic substrate and the method for the same which pertain to a field of an electrothermal material, in particular, to the infrared electrothermal ceramic substrate or electrothermal element which use a metalloid conductive material for a conductor. It comprises an insulative layer and a conductive ceramic layer, which characterized in that both the upper layer and the lower layer of the infrared electrothermal ceramic substrate are insulative ceramic layer (2), (4), and the intermediate layer thereof is a conductive ceramic layer (3), the infrared electrothermal ceramic substrate is prepared by mixing raw materials, molding and sintering, the compositions of the insulative ceramic layer and the conductive ceramic layer are the same, the composition is a ceramic adobe and 1-20 wt% conductive graphite and 1-20 wt% carborundum as additives on the basis of the composition of the ceramic adobe. The infrared electrothermal ceramic substrate has following advantages that it can be connected to a power supply easy, its conversion of power to heat can be up to more than 99.6%, its voltage range can be adjusted randomly, its calorific temperature is 30-500°C and it can be applied widely to construction and heating element and component field and so on.
