Abstract:
The invention relates to an infrared radiator whose radiation source consists of a luminous means (2), which emits light and IR radiation, and whose bulb (1), which encloses said luminous means (2), is coated with an interference filter (13) that is only transparent to infrared radiation from a specified partial range of the wavelength range between 700 nm and 3500 nm. Electromagnetic radiation located outside this partial range is reflected back into the bulb (1).
