Abstract:
This infrastructure radio wave sensor comprises: a transmitting unit that transmits radio waves to a detection area that includes a crosswalk; a receiving unit that receives reflected waves formed by the radio waves reflected by an object; and an output unit that outputs a message created on the basis of the reception result of the reflected waves from the receiving unit. The message includes at least one among a vehicle presence state that indicates the presence of a vehicle that has stopped at a stop line provided in a road that intersects the crosswalk, a vehicle number that indicates the number of vehicles traveling on the road, and an event occurrence state that indicates that an accident event has occurred with a pedestrian at the crosswalk.
