Abstract:
A game device 10 wirelessly transmits an SSID, and a terminal device 6 acquires the SSID from the game device 10. The game device 10 generates a passcode and displays information pertaining to the passcode on a display, and the terminal device 6 acquires the passcode from an image displayed on the display. The terminal device 6 uses the acquired SSID and passcode to wirelessly connect to the game device 10, and transmits setting information for wirelessly connecting to an access point to the terminal device 6. The terminal device 6 records the setting information for wirelessly connecting to the access point.
