Abstract:
An injection device 9 performs injection and pressure holding. The injection is an operation in which a molding material (molten metal) in a sleeve 21 is extruded into a mold (a space 107 in a die 101) by means of a plunger 23. The pressure holding is an operation in which the plunger 23 applies a prescribed set pressure (Pc1 or Pc2) to the molten metal filling the die 101 for a certain period of time. The injection device 9 includes a drive unit 25 connected to the plunger 23. The drive unit 25 applies, to the plunger 23, a driving force for performing pressure reduction, in which the pressure applied to the molten metal filling the die 101 by the plunger 23 reaches the set pressure Pc1 while decreasing.
