Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technique capable of implementing a frequency synthesizer circuit separated into a frequency synthesizer circuit section and an injection-locked phase-locked loop circuit section, thereby performing a frequency synthesizer lock operation and an injection lock operation sequentially to implement fast frequency and phase locks. The present invention comprises: a frequency synthesizer for performing frequency and phase lock operations according to fractional number information and a first reference clock signal supplied from the outside and thereby outputting a reset signal and a second reference clock signal; and an injection-locked phase-locked loop which inputs the second reference clock signal as a reference clock and multiplies the second reference clock signal to targeted integral multiple of frequency to thereby output an output clock signal, after the frequency synthesizer is reset by the reset signal inputted when frequency of the frequency synthesizer is locked, and initiates the frequency lock operation.
