Abstract:
This injection molding machine is equipped with a screw that is provided so as to be drivable in a rotation direction and an axial direction inside a cylinder having a nozzle on the distal end thereof, a drive device for driving the screw, and a control device for controlling the operation of the drive device, wherein the drive device is provided with a ball screw, which has a ball screw shaft provided so as to be able to rotate, and a nut that is screwed onto the ball screw shaft, and that advances and retreats in conjunction with rotation of the ball screw shaft, and which drives the screw in the axial direction by moving the nut so as to advance/retreat. The control device gradually moves the pre-injection screw position and the post-injection screw position during a molding step cycle so as to distribute the advance/retreat movement range of the nut during the molding step cycle.
