Title:
INJECTOR FOR FILLING A MOLDING TOOL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLDED PARTS FROM FOAMED POLYMER PARTICLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/052267
Kind Code:
A9
Abstract:
The invention relates to an injector for filling a molding tool (11) for producing molded parts from foamed polymer particles (1), comprising a channel (5) for feeding foamed polymer particles (1), a filler neck (9) and an injector piston (29), wherein the filler neck (9) adjoins the channel (5) for feeding foamed polymer particles (1). At the end facing the molding tool (11), the injector piston (29) has a cross-sectional surface (31) corresponding to the cross-sectional surface at the mouth (21) of the filler neck (9) into the molding tool (11), which is guided such that with the aid of the injector piston (29), foamed polymer particles (1) can be pressed from the filler neck (9) into the molding tool (11), wherein the filler neck (9) has at least one opening (19), through which the pressure gas can be introduced into the filler neck (9). The invention further relates to a method for producing a molded part from foamed polymer particles.
