Abstract:
The present invention provides: an ink composition with which it is possible to suppress inter-colour bleeding and in which a reduction in storage stability is suppressed; an ink set containing said ink composition; and an image forming method using said ink composition. The ink composition contains: a resin-coated pigment in which at least part of the pigment is coated with a cross-linked resin; a betaine compound (1) represented by formula (1); and water. R1 represents a C6-20 alkyl group, R2 and R3 each independently represent a C1-3 chain hydrocarbon group, L1 represents a single bond or divalent linking group, L2 represents a divalent linking group, and A- represents an -SO3
- group or a -COO- group.
