Abstract:
Provided is an ink-jet recording paper which has a high chromogenic performance, allows double side printing, and has a high delivery performance when the paper is used in a high-speed sheet-fed ink-jet printer. The ink-jet printing paper comprises a support, and ink receiving layers containing an inorganic pigment are provided on the opposite surfaces of the support, wherein at least one of the ink receiving layers contains organic spherical particles, and the coefficient of static friction between the front surface and the rear surface of the ink-jet printing paper measured in accordance with JIS P 8147:1994 "Testing method for coefficient of friction of paper and cardboard" (horizontal direction) is 0.65 to 0.85 inclusive.
