Abstract:
Provided are an inkjet head manufacturing method and an inkjet head with which there will be less variation in ink ejection. This inkjet head manufacturing method involves applying a voltage to a piezoelectric member to deform the piezoelectric member, thereby imparting pressure fluctuation to ink and ejecting the ink, wherein the distribution of ink ejection speed is corrected using a structure that corresponds to the polarization characteristics of the piezoelectric member. The polarization characteristics may be defined by residual polarization. The area of an electrode that applies the voltage to the piezoelectric member may be reduced in portions of the piezoelectric member where the residual polarization is higher .
