Abstract:
This inkjet printer comprises a printing head for performing printing by means of ink particles, a main body for suppling ink to a nozzle, and a control unit for controlling the printing head and the main body. The control unit: stores an L-V characteristic and an excitation voltage condition with which printing is possible, for a reference nozzle; measures the L-V characteristic representing a relationship between a cutting position of an ink column discharged from the nozzle and an excitation voltage; and calculates the excitation voltage condition for a mounted nozzle on the basis of the L-V characteristic and the excitation voltage condition with which printing is possible, for the reference nozzle, and the L-V characteristic of the mounted nozzle. Printing is then executed by applying the calculated excitation voltage condition.
