Abstract:
The present invention relates to an idle time prediction device and method, and an idle time prediction device for controlling an inline process, in which a production facility including a plurality of component mounters operates, comprises: a communication unit capable of performing data communication with the production facility; an idle time prediction unit for predicting an idle time of the production facility on the basis of production time data received by the communication unit from the production facility; and a control unit for transmitting a control signal for instructing to perform a sub-operation which requires time equal to or less than an idle time predicted by the idle time prediction unit to the production facility through the communication unit.
