Abstract:
The present invention relates to developments made on the inner door frame (1). With the inventive inner door frame (1 ), the weight becomes lower, manufacturability of the component becomes easy and performance of the system is increased. In addition, the free area formed by connecting the components in the inner door frame (1) is reduced and the outer plate (6) is enabled to be manufactured with a thinner material.

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. An inner door frame (1) comprising — bar (2) enabling passenger safety, — latch reinforcement (3) reinforcing the latch area subjected to reactive power from the latch during opening and closing door, — belt line reinforcement (4) enabling downward and upward movement of the glass, characterized by a door reinforcement plate (5) — serving as beam during crash,

— formed by manufacturing the bar (2), latch reinforcement (3) and belt line reinforcement (4) as an integral component.

2. An inner door frame (1) according to Claim 1, characterized by a door reinforcement plate (5) which reduces the area under the outer plate (6), centre of which is filled and which allows the outer plate (6) to be manufactured with a thinner plate than the conventional one.

3. An inner door frame (1) according to Claim 1, characterized by the rubber components (71) fixed on the door reinforcement plate (5).

Description:
AN INNER DOOR FRAME

Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to developments made on the inner door frame.

Prior Art

Safety of the passengers in the vehicle is enabled by means parts such as bar used in the inner door frame in the vehicles. Moreover, strength and life time of the area subjected to reactive power from latch during opening and closing the door are increased by means of latch reinforcement used in the inner door frame.

In TW250944B, a model reducing the manufacture cost and increasing the strength by reinforcing the door is disclosed. Said invention comprises an outer plate forming the contour of the door, a reinforcement to operate in conformity with the outer plate and a U-shaped inner panel which is upwardly open. Front, lateral and lower edges and inner parts of the door reinforcement are welded each other separately, whereby a box-shaped section is formed.

In prior art, 3 different parts have been used in the inner door frame. Costs are increased both in terms of time and process when the three parts used in the inner door frame are manufactured separately and each component parts manufactured is mounted to inner door frame with an individual process. Moreover, manufacturability of the component parts is not relatively easy and ergonomic.

Summary of the Invention

The objective of the present invention is to realize an inner door frame whose weight is lower, which is more easily manufactured and has higher system performance. Another objective of the present invention is to realize an inner door frame which enables the free area to reduce after the parts are connected and the outer plate to be manufactured with a thinner material.

Detailed Description of the Invention

"An Inner Door Frame" realized to fulfill the objective of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying figures wherein,

Figure 1 is a view of an inner door frame according to prior art.

Figure 2 is a view of the inventive inner door frame.

Figure 3 is a view of door reinforcement plate in the inventive inner door frame.

The components in the figures are numbered individually, where the numbers refer to the following:

In the inventive inner door frame (1), used as a separate components in the prior art,

— bar (2) enabling passenger safety,

— latch reinforcement (3) reinforcing the latch area subjected to reactive power from the latch during opening and closing door, — belt line reinforcement (4) enabling downward and upward movement of the glass are integrated into one piece, thereby function of each three components is provided by an integral door reinforcement plate (5).

Door reinforcement plate (5) is mounted on the inner door frame (1), and the inner door frame (1) is fixed to door outer plate (6).

In the prior art, a large anti-vibration rubber component (7) reinforcing the door outer plate (6) is placed on the inner surface of the door outer plate (6) so as to correspond to the area between bar (2) and belt line reinforcement (4). By means of the door reinforcement plate (5) used in the inventive inner door frame (1), large rubber component (7) fixed on the inner surface of the door outer plate (6) is not required.

The integral door reinforcement plate (5) increases the passenger safety in case of lateral crashes and prevents deformation of the door outer plate (6) due to effects of forces from outside by reinforcing the door outer plate (6) by means of the rubber components (71) placed so as to correspond to center of the door reinforcement plate (5).

In addition, the integral door reinforcement plate (5) reinforces the area subjected to reaction given by latch during opening and closing door, thereby strength and life time of the inner door frame (1) is increased.

An edge of the gap to enable upward and downward movement of glass properly is defined, the door outer plate (6) is reinforced against the loads from outside and passenger safety is enhanced in case of lateral crashes by means of the integral door reinforcement plate (5). In the inventive inner door frame (1 ), the free area under the outer plate (6) is reduced and the outer plate (6) can be manufactured with a thinner plate than the conventional plate since the center of the door reinforcement plate (5) which is formed by connecting bar (2), latch reinforcement (3) and belt line reinforcement (4) is filled.

In the part to serve as latch reinforcement (3) which is one of the components included in the door reinforcement plate (5), 2 edges are removed firstly in the mold by cutting operation, then the formed surface of the component is shaped. Surface features of the integral door reinforcement plate (5) which correspond to areas of the conventional bar (2), latch reinforcement (3) and belt line reinforcement (4) are formed by this operation. In the following operation, latch reinforcement (3) is shaped after being placed on the mold, thereby door reinforcement plate (5) takes its final shape.

In the inventive inner door frame (1), the amount of the scrapped plate is reduced in total by means of the used door reinforcement plate (5).

Door reinforcement plate (5) alone functions as beam under the effect of bending moment during a lateral crash to vehicle. Cross-sectional moment of inertia which is an important factor for beams carrying load is increased by means of the door reinforcement plate (5).

With the help of the door reinforcement plate (5) used in the inventive inner door frame (1), a high performance against a crush on the door outer plate (6) is provided. Since performance of style surface of the door outer plate (6) is high in the cases such as hitting with a stone and/or ball, leaning to the door outer plate (6) or hitting to a rigid object during opening the door, wall thickness of the plate is reduced. In order to reinforce connection of the door reinforcement plate (5) used between the door outer plate (6) and the inner door plate ( 1 ), small rubber components (71) are used in the free areas, thereby sounds caused by the vibration occurred on the free surfaces are damped.

The door reinforcement plate (5) is mounted to inner door frame (1) with a single process by manufacturing the door reinforcement plate (5) used in the prior art as three parts. In addition, a cost advantage is provided by manufacturing the three parts according to the prior art in the inner door frame (1) with a single process.

"An Inner Door Frame (1)" according to the present invention is illustrated by the examples referring to the drawings to make the present invention clearer. However, scope of the invention is not limited to the above described examples and drawings. The person skilled in the art can easily produce different embodiments of the invention. The scope of the invention is essentially according to the claims.
