Abstract:
An inorganic fibrous molded body which contains: first inorganic fibers which contain silica and one or more metal oxides selected from among calcia and magnesia, so that 18-30% by weight of the metal oxides and 70-82% by weight of the silica are contained therein; and second inorganic fibers which contain silica and one or more metal oxides selected from among calcia and magnesia, so that 18-50% by weight of the metal oxides and 50% by weight or more but less than 70% by weight of the silica are contained therein.
