Abstract:
The present invention is an inorganic material-reinforced thermoplastic polyester resin composition capable of yielding a molded article, i.e. a long thin-walled molded article, which has an excellent appearance while maintaining inherent mechanical characteristics, such as rigidity and impact resistance. The resin composition contains: 20-55 parts by mass of a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin (A); 1-30 parts by mass of a poly(ethylene terephthalate) resin (B); 3-30 parts by mass of a semi-crystalline resin and/or a non-crystalline resin (C); and 25-65 parts by mass of an inorganic reinforcing material (D). The number average fiber length Ln of the inorganic reinforcing material (D) in the resin composition is 100-500 μm. The resin composition exhibits excellent fluidity and has a descending temperature crystallization temperature that falls within a specific range.
