Abstract:
The present invention provides: an inorganic porous support which enables the further improvement in the purity of a nucleic acid in the production of the nucleic acid, the inorganic porous support comprising an inorganic porous body which has a linker represented by general formula (1) (wherein the bond marked with "*" represents a bond to an oxygen atom in a silanol group in the inorganic porous body; n represents an integer such as 1; R's independently represent an alkyl group which has 3 to 10 carbon atoms and may have a substituent such as an alkoxy group; and L represents a single bond, an alkylene group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an alkylene group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, and is a group containing -CH2-Q-CH2-, i.e., a group in which a group Q selected from the group consisting of –O- and others is inserted in at least one -CH2-CH2- group constituting the alkylene group) and has a survival bone rate (SBR) value of 5.0% or more; and a method for producing a nucleic acid using the inorganic porous support.
