Abstract:
The present invention relates to an inorganic-reinforced thermoplastic polyester resin composition which is a polyester resin composition that contains an inorganic reinforcement, e.g., glass fibers, and that, although having high strength and high rigidity, retains a satisfactory surface appearance, warps or deforms little, and forms very few burrs. The inorganic-reinforced thermoplastic polyester resin composition comprises (A) 20-60 mass% poly(butylene terephthalate) resin, (B) 5-20 mass% amorphous resin, (C) 30-60 mass% inorganic reinforcement, (D) 0.5-10 mass% ethylene/glycidyl (meth)acrylate copolymer, and (E) 0.05-2 mass% transesterification inhibitor and has a melt viscosity, as measured at 265°C and a shear rate of 10 sec-1, of 0.5-1.5 kPa·s.
