Abstract:
Provided is an input device which inputs a signal by rotation and which can be made with a decreased thickness in the rotation axis direction. The input device comprises: a knob that is rotatably operated; a rotation shaft that rotates together with the knob; a flange member that is disposed on the outer peripheral surface side of the rotation shaft and that is capable of regulating the rotation of the rotation shaft; an elastic member that is fixed to the flange member on the outer peripheral surface side of the rotation shaft; a rotation control part that can permit and prohibit rotation of the elastic member; and a detector that detects the rotational state of the rotation shaft.
