Abstract:
This input device (2) comprises an operation member (10) that tilts along a first direction in response to a user operation; an expansion member (12) that tilts along the first direction relative to the operation member (10), in conjunction with tilting of the operation member (10); a magnet (14) supported by the expansion member (12); a sensor substrate (6) that is arranged opposing the magnet (14), and that detects the tilting of the operation member (10); a moderation pin (16) that imparts a sense of moderation to the operation of tilting the operation member (10), said moderation pin (16) being supported by the expansion member (12) so as to be capable of moving back and forth; and a biasing member (18) that biases the moderation pin (16) toward a moderation surface (40), thereby causing a distal end (16a) of the moderation pin (16) to abut the moderation surface (40). The expansion member (12) increases the amount of movement of the magnet (14) relative to the amount of tilting of the operation member (10), and increases the amount of movement of the distal end (16a) of the moderation pin (16) in a direction along the moderation surface (40).
