Abstract:
This input system is provided with an input device, an electrostatic sensor, a conduction sensor, a control unit, and a determination unit. The input device is configured so that a moving contact being pressed alters capacitance between a first electrode and a second electrode, and after the capacitance has been altered, the moving contact further being pressed makes a third electrode and a fourth electrode electrically conductive. The conduction sensor detects conduction between the third electrode and the fourth electrode. After the conduction sensor has detected conduction between the third electrode and the fourth electrode, the control unit puts the sensing operation of the electrostatic sensor into the on state from the off state. When in the on state, the electrostatic sensor outputs a detection value relating to the capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode.
