Abstract:
By means of an air blower, this insect trap device blows air out of a first blow-out port and a second blow-out port to the inside and out of a discharge port to the outside, said air having been sucked from an intake port. The insect trap device has a housing that can define a front surface and a rear surface. The housing comprises a side surface that links the front surface and the rear surface. The intake port and the first blow-out port are provided in the front surface. The intake port is an opening that includes the centre of the front surface. The first blow-out port is adjacent to the intake port. The discharge port, which can place the inside of the housing in communication with the outside, is provided in the rear surface. The second blow-out port is provided in the side surface. Inside the housing, an insect trap mesh and the air blower are positioned downstream of the intake port. Moreover, the first blow-out port is provided with a drug storage part, which is capable of causing air blown out of the first blow-out port to contain a drug. The drug storage part releases the drug, which is liked by flying insects to be trapped on the inside of the housing.
