Abstract:
An insert (1) according to the present disclosure has a cBN sintered body containing cBN and TiN.
In an observation of a cross section of the cBN sintered body, cBN occupies 60 area% or more. Moreover, TiN(200) is greater than cBN(111), where cBN(111) is the X-ray intensity in the (111) plane of cBN in X-ray diffraction of the cBN sintered body, and TiN(200) is the X-ray intensity in the (200) plane of TiN in X-ray diffraction of the cBN sintered body.
