Abstract:
An inspection device (100) for magnet wire coating is provided with a track formation device (3, 4) to form a track (1) by causing a coated magnet wire (2) to run at a constant speed in a line direction before winding. The inspection device (100) comprises a discharge sensing electrode (5) that collects electric discharges generated by applying an AC voltage to the magnet wire (2) at a set position in the track (1), a detection device (10) that detects a discharge signal on the basis of the electric discharges, and a discharge promoting device (7A, 7B) that promotes the start of discharge from a strand 21 of the magnet wire 2 at the position of voltage application by the discharge sensing electrode 5.
