Abstract:
This inspection device for rotating electrical machines comprises: a storage unit for storing trend information indicating the relationship between the location and scale of damage occurring in a section under inspection, which is the range to be inspected on a rotor of a rotating electrical machine, and the amount of deformation occurring in a section under measurement that is set on the outer surface of the rotor; a measurement unit that measures the amount of deformation which has occurred in the section under measurement; and a damage estimation unit that estimates the location and scale of damage which has occurred in the section under measurement on the basis of the amount of deformation in the section under measurement that was measured by the measurement unit.
