Abstract:
In one example of this inspection master, an upper-surface inclined reference part having an inclined upward-oriented opening is provided to an upper surface of a master body that has the upper surface and a peripheral surface. In another example of this inspection master, a peripheral-surface inclined reference part having an inclined upward-oriented opening is provided to a peripheral surface of a master body that has an upper surface and the peripheral surface. In both cases, it is possible to provide an upper-surface vertical reference part having a vertically oriented opening in the upper surface, and also to provide a peripheral-surface horizontal reference part having a horizontally oriented opening in the peripheral surface. Additionally, there is provided in a central part of the upper surface a reference sphere for establishing the angle of inclination of the master body, which inclines during inspection of the precision of a five-axis finishing machine.
