Abstract:
The boss for installing an accessory onto an engine fan case comprises multiple stacked layers of reinforcing fibers and a matrix that binds the reinforcing fibers to each other, and is equipped with a seat provided with a bottom surface shape that can adhere closely to the outer surface of the fan case, and an embedded body, which is embedded in the seat and comprises a fastening structure that can be fastened to the accessory.
