Abstract:
This instrument-to-be-used estimation device comprises: a behavior recognition unit which recognizes the surgeon's behavior during surgery on the basis of behavior detection data obtained by detecting the surgeon's movements; a situation recognition unit which recognizes the status of the surgery on the basis of the behavior recognition results of the behavior recognition unit; and an estimation unit which estimates at least one type to be used next by the surgeon from among a plurality of types of surgical instruments given in advance on the basis of the situation recognition result.
