Abstract:
The present invention provides an insulating cover for a terminal of a battery module. The insulating cover is configured by cutting and forming a thin plate-shaped member into an unfolded shape, and then folding a certain portion to form a box shape. Thus, the cost of manufacturing the insulating cover can be significantly reduced. Moreover, since a terminal can be exposed or covered by a simple manipulation of opening or closing a portion of the insulating cover without completely uncoupling the insulating cover, the insulating cover is very convenient to use. The insulating cover of the present invention comprises: a bottom plate having a through-hole through which a terminal of a battery module passes; a side plate having an accommodation space in which a connection part including the terminal can be accommodated; a cover plate covering the top of the accommodation space; and a coupling means by which the cover plate can be coupled so as to maintain a state of covering the top of the accommodation space, or uncoupled, wherein the bottom plate, the side plate, and the cover plate are formed by punching a plate-shaped member of a synthetic resin material in an unfolded shape, and first and second folding lines facilitating folding are formed in each of connection parts of the bottom plate, the side plate, and the cover plate.
