Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of insulation materials. Specifically disclose is an insulation material for a low-voltage distribution box. The insulation material for a low-voltage distribution box is prepared by weighing the following components in parts by weight: PP, aluminum hydroxide, a titanate coupling agent, glass fibers, chlorinated paraffin, zinc oxide, talcum powder, an antioxidant DLTP, zinc stearate, acetylene black and tribasic lead sulfate. The product has the relative density of 0.91 to 0.93, the tensile strength of 35 MPa to 55 MPa and the elongation of 450% to 650%. The product is high-temperature-resistant, has the heat-resistant temperature of 120ºC to 160 ºC, the notch impact strength of 15 kJ/m to 55 kJ/m, the cold resistance of 50ºC below zero, the oxygen index of 30% to 50% and the bending strength of 50 MPa to70 MPa, and the Brinell Hardness of 104 to 108, has low costs and is simple in operation, has an alternating-current insulation and breakdown voltage of 20 kV/mm to 60 kV/mm and can be widely produced and continuously replace the existing material.
