Abstract:
The present invention relates to: an insulator injection mold that has, in divisional insulator molding, improved airtightness at the joining face between insulation housings; and a molding method. According to the present invention, in divisional insulator molding, by filling with insulating material while a joint shed located at the end portion of a first insulation housing which is first-molded is inserted into a second-insulation-shed molding portion located at the end portion of a second molding region of a second mold, the insulating material is prevented from leaking into a receiving region for the second mold. In addition, since molding is performed while the second insulation housing overlaps the joint shed, joining performance and airtightness between the first insulation housing and the second insulation housing are improved.
