Abstract:
This insulator comprises: a tooth covering portion (72) covering at least a portion of a tooth (65); a yoke covering portion (73) covering at least a portion of an inside surface of a back yoke portion (64); and a regulating projection (74, 74A, 74B, 74C, 74D) projecting from the yoke covering portion (73). The regulating projection (74, 74A, 74B, 74C, 74D) projects from the yoke covering portion (73) in a direction (R2) from a base end of the tooth (65) toward a tip end thereof when the insulator has been fitted to a divided core (62), and is positioned adjacent, in a circumferential direction (C1) about a reference axis (L1), to a coil (81) wound around the tooth (65), when seen in a direction (R1) from the tip end of the tooth (65) toward the base end thereof.
