Description:
Description

INTEGRATED CONTROL DISPLAY SYSTEM AND CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY WITH THE SAME

Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to an integrated control display system and a construction machinery, in particular a loader, with the same.

In current construction machinery, in particular loaders, an independent reverse image display device is often configured to display the reverse images. If other display or control functions, e.g. the emergency steering function, are to be implemented, additional mechanical controllers will be required. This architecture results in the complexity of the vehicle electrical system, more cost for the production design, more load on the mechanical controller, and more occupation of the interfaces, and therefore is not conducive to subsequent functional expansion.

Summary of Invention

The present disclosure is directed to provide an integrated control display system and a construction machinery with the same, which can not only reduce the complexity and cost of the electrical system of the construction machinery, but also support simple functional expansion.

The present disclosure provides an integrated control display system for construction machinery, which comprises: an environment detecting device, which detects an environment of the construction machinery and generates environment-data; a display device that is directly or indirectly connected to the environment detecting device, thereby displaying the environment-data from the environment detecting device in a visually perceivable way; a control device connected to the display device; a steering related detecting module connected to the control device and transmitting a steering related detection information to the control device, wherein the control device diagnoses a state of a main steering system based on the steering related detection information and generates an emergency steering command based on a result of diagnosis; an emergency steering execution module connected to the control device, wherein the emergency steering execution module receives the emergency steering command from the control device and executes an emergency steering operation based on the emergency steering command.

Detailed Description of the Embodiments

The control display system and the construction machinery with the same according to the present disclosure will be described below through specific embodiments with reference to the drawings. However, the exemplary embodiments can be implemented in multiple forms and should not be understood as being limited to the embodiments described herein. On the contrary, providing these embodiments makes the present disclosure comprehensive and complete, and makes the concept of the exemplary embodiments comprehensively conveyed to those skilled in the art.

Fig. l is a schematic block diagram of an integrated control display system 1 for construction machinery according to the present disclosure. The control display system 1 can be applied to various types of construction machinery, such as loaders or excavators. As shown in the figure, the control display system 1 comprises an environment detecting device 11, which is used to detect the surrounding environment of the construction machinery and generate environment-data. The environment detecting device 11 may include one or more sensor devices. Preferably, the environment detecting device 11 may include a camera, e.g. a reverse camera, for detecting rear environment images of the construction machinery and generating rear image data. Of course, the environment detecting device 11 may also include other environment detecting devices, such as side cameras, side radar or rear radars, etc.

The control display system 1 includes a display device 12. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the display device 12 is indirectly connected to the environment detecting device 11 via the control device 13 to receive environmentdata and display it in a visually perceivable way, e.g. in the form of environment images or animations. For example, the control device 13 converts the environment-data obtained by the environment detecting device 11 into video signals and transmits them to the display device 12. In the case where the environment detecting device 11 is a reverse camera, the display device 12 correspondingly displays a reverse image and functions as a reverse image display. For other types of environment detecting devices 11, the display device 12 displays corresponding environmental information. For example, for the environment detecting device 11 as a side radar, the display device 12 can display the relevant detection results in the form of animations. If the environment detecting device 11 includes multiple sensor devices, the control device 13 can control the display device 12 to display the information of different sensors simultaneously or at different time, or display the information of corresponding sensors in a selectable way.

In addition, the display device 12 can also be directly connected to the environment detecting device 11, i.e., connected not through the control device 13.

In addition to the function of detecting and displaying environmental information, the control display system 1 according to the present disclosure also has an emergency steering control function. Therefore, the control display system 1 also includes a steering related detecting module 14 and an emergency steering execution module 15.

The steering related detecting module 14 is provided for detecting the detection information related to steering, and includes, for example, a primary steering pressure sensor 141, a vehicle speed sensor 142, and an engine speed sensor 143. As shown in the figure, the primary steering pressure sensor 141, the vehicle speed sensor 142, and the engine speed sensor 143 are respectively connected to the control device 13. Therefore, the control device 13 directly or indirectly receives steering related detection information from the steering pressure sensor 141, vehicle speed sensor 142, and engine speed sensor 143, respectively. That is to say, the control device 13 can be directly connected to all sensors. Alternatively, it is feasible that the control device 13 indirectly obtains the steering related detection information. For example, the control device 13 can indirectly obtain the information about engine speed from the engine controller through a communication connection.

Based on the received steering related detection information, the control device 13 diagnoses the status of the primary steering system and determines whether the emergency steering system needs to be activated based on the result of diagnosis. The specific technical means by which the control device diagnoses the status of the primary steering system are known in the prior art and will not be repeated here. If the control device 13 determines that the emergency steering system needs to be activated, an emergency steering command will be generated and transmitted to the emergency steering execution module 15. The emergency steering execution module 15 executes emergency steering operations based on the emergency steering command.

Specifically, the emergency steering execution module 15 includes an emergency steering relay 151 and an emergency steering pump 152. The emergency steering relay 151 is connected to the control device 13 and receives emergency steering commands from it. When receiving an emergency steering command, the emergency steering relay 151 engages and drives the emergency steering pump 152, thereby providing emergency steering force for the construction machinery. Of course, according to the structure of the steering system of the construction machinery, the emergency steering execution module 15 can also include other types of actuators.

In an embodiment, the control device 13 controls the display device 12 while issuing the emergency steering command to display the information on emergency steering activation. This information can remind the user that the primary steering system is in an abnormal state and that the emergency steering function has been activated.

In addition to the above functions, other functions can also be integrated into the integrated control display system 1, including but not limited to an emergency steering monitoring function, a parking assist display function, an emergency brake control function, and an emergency brake display function, etc. Moreover, the display device can also be used for entertainment display. Optionally, the integrated control display system 1 also includes a function extension interface (not shown), which is connected to the control device 13 to support function extension. For example, this interface supports new inputs and/or outputs, and/or writing of new programs to the control device.

Optionally, the integrated control display system 1 also includes a human-machine interaction interface (not shown), for example, the display device is configured as a touch screen to provide a human-machine interaction function. For example, the human-machine interaction interface allows the user to control the display system, e.g., selecting the display content of the display device or turning off the display device, etc.

Particularly, the display device 12 can be integrated into the instrument panel in the cab of the construction machinery, for example as part of the instrument panel. Still particularly, the control device 13 can also be integrated into the aforementioned instrument panel, for example as a module of the instrument panel.

The present disclosure also relates to a construction machinery, particularly a loader, with the integrated control display system 1.

Industrial Applicability

According to a specific embodiment, the control display system 1 is installed in a loader. When the loader works, the control device 13 controls the display device 12 to display environment images, in particular environment images behind the vehicle. At the same time, the control device 13 receives steering related sensor signals from the sensors, such as the primary steering pressure sensor 141, the vehicle speed sensor 142, and the engine speed sensor 143, and diagnoses the status of the primary steering system based on the sensor signals. When the control device 13 determines that the status of the primary steering system is abnormal, an emergency steering command will be generated and transmitted to the emergency steering relay 151. In response to the emergency steering command, the emergency steering relay 151 engages and drives the emergency steering pump 152 to provide emergency steering force for the loader. At the same time, the control device 13 controls the display device 12 to display the information that the status of the primary steering system is abnormal and the emergency steering function has been activated.

The integrated control display system 1 with one common system realizes both the display function of the environmental information, in particular reverse images, and the control (and optional display) function of the emergency steering. The control display system of the present disclosure reduces the complexity of the electrical system of the construction machinery and cuts down the costs. In particular, it provides a new design concept on emergency steering control for the construction machinery without a construction machinery controller. In addition, the integrated control display system 1 has good scalability and can provide an excellent user experience by utilizing the optional human-machine interaction interface.

This specification is for illustrative purposes only, and should not be expected to limit the scope of the present invention in any manner. Therefore, those skilled in the art should understand that various modifications can be made to the disclosed embodiments without departing from the full and reasonable scope and spirit of the present invention. Other aspects, features and advantages will become apparent from the drawings and the appended claims.
