An intelligent levelling system having an automatic temperature control function and a method thereof. The system comprises a trolley-type levelling machine (1), an indoor GPS positioning apparatus, an AGV temperature measurement apparatus (3), and a control system. The control system processes position parameters of the AGV temperature measurement apparatus (3) and the trolley-type levelling machine (1): converting the position parameters of the trolley-type levelling machine (1) into position parameters of a levelling area, and controlling, by means of a control chip (7), the AGV temperature measurement apparatus (3) to reach the position below the levelling area, so as to measure the temperature of the levelling area; and controlling the working state of the AGV temperature measurement apparatus (3), and performing data transmission with the AGV temperature measurement apparatus (3). The method can intelligently control levelling temperature and levelling time of a levelling area according to preset data parameters, and has a good levelling effect.
