Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide an inter-process communication method and system. Said method comprises: in a linking stage of processes, reserving the same virtual address space for a plurality of processes, mapping the same virtual address space to the same physical memory, and allocating, from the physical memory, at least one first memory block to a first process, the first process being any process among the plurality of processes; storing, in the first memory block, the data that the first process needs to share with at least one second process, the first process and said at least one second process being processes among the plurality of processes; and sending a notification message to said at least one second process, so as to indicate the address of the data stored in the first memory block, so that each of the second processes acquires the data according to the address. The present invention avoids affecting resources during process running, improving the process running efficiency, and realizes zero copy transmission of data between multiple processes, improving the inter-process communication efficiency.
