Abstract:
Provided in the present application are an interference detection method, and a device. The method can be applied to a scenario in which a wireless access point (AP) device is connected to a plurality of station (STA) devices. The method comprises: first a wireless access point (AP) device determining an idle station device from among a plurality of station (STA) devices, which are connected to the wireless access point (AP) device, and then sending an interference detection indication message to the idle station (STA) device, wherein the interference detection indication message comprises a channel identifier and a required interference measurement factor; and then the station (STA) device performing interference detection on the channel indicated by the wireless access point (AP) device, so as to obtain an interference detection result, and sending the interference detection result to the wireless access point (AP) device. By means of the method of the present application, interference detection can be performed by using an idle station device, such that the performance of a wireless access point (AP) device is prevented from being affected by a Wi-Fi interference, thereby improving the data transmission performance, and improving the user experience.
