Title:
INTERFERENCE DEVICE, POLARIZATION CONTROL METHOD, AND POLARIZATION CONTROL PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/100668
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an interference device capable of suppressing a deterioration in the quantum property of quantum light the quality of information of which deteriorates due to light loss, a polarization control method, and a polarization control program. An interference device (101) according to the present invention comprises: a first waveguide (51a) through which first quantum light (SL1) is transmitted and from which the first quantum light is outputted; a second waveguide (51b) through which second quantum light (SL2) is transmitted and from which the second quantum light is outputted; a first beam splitter (BS21) which generates first interference light and second interference light from the first quantum light in a first polarization state outputted from the first waveguide and the second quantum light in a second polarization state outputted from the second waveguide; and a first polarization state change unit (31a) which applies first action to the first waveguide to change the first polarization state to a third polarization state by birefringence based on the first action. The quantum light is light the quality of information of which deteriorates due to light loss.
