Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to increase the efficiency of exhausting burnt gas during scavenging and to suppress knocking even when the amount of particulates deposited on a particulate filter has increased. Therefore, an internal combustion engine system 150 includes a particulate filter 123 configured to be able to capture the particulates in the exhaust gas. An internal combustion engine controller 150 controls an intake valve 102 and an exhaust valve 103 so that a change in an overlap period in an overlap operation in which the intake valve 102 and the exhaust valve 103 of the internal combustion engine 100 are simultaneously opened increases as the pressure on the upstream side of the particulate filter 123 increases.
