Abstract:
Rocker arm shafts (51, 52) comprising: support shafts (51d, 52d) supported by an engine body (42); and centrifugal shafts (51c, 52c) supporting rocker arms (47, 48) and having second axial lines (C51, C52) offset from first axial lines (C41, C42) for the support shafts (51d, 52d). Impelling members (53, 54) are also provided that apply impelling force in the circumferential direction of the rocker arm shafts (51, 52). The rocker arm shafts (51, 52) receive the impelling force of the impelling members (53, 54), rotate around the first axial lines (C41, C42) of the support shafts (51d, 52d), and change the center rotation support position for the rocker arms (47, 48) provided by the centrifugal shafts (51c, 52c).
